Bristol Man Jailed Over Child Abuse And Indecent Images
A Bristol man's been jailed for 12 years for sexually abusing young children in his care.
Owen Baxter from Redland was also found guilty of possessing and distributing as many as 8 thousand indecent images of children.
The twenty four year old volunteered at Saint Matthews Church in Bristol and befriended parents there so he'd be trusted to babysit their children.
A Judge at Bristol Crown Court called Baxter's actions 'worrying and chilling'.
Of his 12 year sentence he will spend 6 years behind bars and six on licence.
