Section on the A369 which was closed this morning
One of Bristol's main commuter routes has reopened, following an accident overnight.
The A369 was closed in both directions on Rownham Hill from the traffic lights at Bridge Road to Kennel Lodge Road.
The section of road was shut after an accident involving two cars, which happened at around 3.45am. The road was closed for about four hours, but reopened just before 8am.
Diversions were in place via the suspension bridge and Beggar Bush Lane. There are reports that traffic is still slow in the area.
