Robins beaten at the Hawthorns
Bristol City's 7-match unbeaten run has come to an end in the Championship with a 4-1 defeat to West Brom at the Hawthorns.
Gary Johnson blamed individual mistakes as he watched his side let in two early goals in each half against one of the Championship's promotion favourites.
He said: "They've got some quality players and are very slick. They punish mistakes but the key is not to make those mistakes. Four one is a fair reflection of the game."
He added: "I want to thank the supporters, who will clearly be disappointed, but they realise there's still another 30-odd games to go."
City now face back-to-back home games against Sheffield United and Ipswich Town.
