Saturday, August 14th 2010 06:00

The club travel to the Rose Bowl hoping to bring the Cup back home.

Somerset take on Nottinghamshire in the semi-final this afternoon at 3pm, whilst Essex face the hosts Hampshire.

The final will then be played out at 7.15pm between the two winning sides for the afternoon action.

This is third time that Somerset has reached the finals of the Friends Provident Twent20 Cup.

They won it in 2005 but last year were beaten by Sussex in the final at Edgbaston.

On the club's website the Somerset keeper Craig Kieswetter said: "I hope that by the end of Saturday we will have our hands on that big silver cup - as well as a couple of bottles of champagne to help us celebrate. It would be great to lift the trophy but I think it would be wise for us not to get too far ahead of ourselves and take each game as it comes."
