Somerset are back in action at the County Ground after rain led to Thursdays play being called off.
The overnight rain had continued until mid morning; the groundstaff started to remove the covers at approx 11.45 am but there seemed little prosepct of any play. There were further inspections at 12.30, and then again at 1.30pm and then finally at 2.30pm the day's play was called off.
Somerset will resume on 287 for 4, with Craig Kieswetter on 27 and Zander de Bruyn 18 not out.
