Today's FA Cup third round match between Bristol City and Cardiff City has been called-off.
An inspection by match offical Peter Walton has deemed the pitch at Ashton Gate too frozen to play - the announcement was made on the Bristol City FC website earlier today.
The postponement is despite the club installing a cover to keep frost off the turf.
Bosses are looking to rearrange the match for a later date, when tickets will be honoured.
Dozens of other matches around the country have also been called-off, including Yeovil against Leyton Orient and Hereford against Crewe.
