Tributes will be paid to former Exeter player Adam Stansfield before the match against Bristol Rovers today.
A minute of applause will take place before the game at St James' Park after the player died of cancer last week.
Rovers boss Paul Trollope said: "Our thoughts are with Adam's family and Exeter and all that knew him. It will be a sad occassion, but I am sure Exeter will be very motivated to win the game for Adam.
"We'll go down there and be professional and make sure we have the edge to win the game."
Striker Marcus Stewart could miss out after badly bruising his foot during the heavy Carling Cup defeat to Oxford last week.
But Trollope is looking to build on his side's win at Yeovil last Saturday. He said: "It was a brave committed performance, we have managed to maintain that level through the week and now it's important we take that into Saturday."
"Certainly there is a lot more smiles and a lot more tempo to the work this week off the back of that win."
