
People as far as Lockleaze have reported no water in their homes this morning after a water pipe burst on Royate Hill.
Bristol Water have sent crews to the area to re-route the water supply, meaning that most home will have access to water by 10 o clock this morning.
Royate Hill could be closed for the rest of the day while repair work is carried out to the mains there.
Bristol Water have issued this statement on their website: "Due to a 14" burst water main in Royate Hill, properties across North Bristol are experiencing water supply interruptions and pressure fluctuations.
"A crew are on their way to isolate the main and start to make the repair and we are looking to rezone affected households and businesses to minimise the impact of this emergency.
"We apologise for the inconvenience this emergency is causing and assure you we are doing everything we can to return water supplies back to normal."
