Concern is growing for the welfare of the missing boy from Bristol.

Matthew Foster from St Anne's hasn't been seen since Saturday.

He has made contact with his family since although will not disclose where he is staying.

Police believe he could be staying with friends in Bristol.

Both his family and police are growing concerned for his welfare due to his age.

Detective Inspector Will White said: "Matthew you are not in trouble with the police or your family. We all want you to return home, everyone is very worried about you. Please get in touch with us and let us know where you are."

Matthew is described as mixed heritage, and of a slim build and around 5ft 4inches tall. He has short curly hair and an ear stud in his left ear. He was last seen wearing a black top and black jogging bottoms.

Anyone who has information in relation to his whereabouts is asked to call police on 0845 456 7000.
