Two men have been charged with manslaughter after a Bristol woman died hours after her house was burgled.

A break-in was reported in the early hours of Tuesday morning at the home of Pauline Reddick, 80, on Newcombe Road in Stoke Bishop.  She later died in hospital.

18 year old Louis Corbett and a 17-year-old man, both from the Bristol area, are to appear at Bristol Magistrates Court today.

They are also charged with burglary.  A third man arrested has been released on bail.

Police are waiting for the results of a post mortem examination and have increased patrols in the area to try and reassure residents.
