Homes Flooded In West
Heavy rain continues to fall as more flood warnings are given by Met Office.
Avon Fire Brigade were called out last night to a number of homes in Yate.
The flooding had affected 8 houses in North Road. The road was closed off while emergency workers were at the scene and council officials worked with the services to provide sandbags.
The Red Cross supported the families affected.
