The taxi driver charged with murdering two young women has been officially remanded in custody at Bristol Crown Court.
47-year-old Christopher Halliwell, from Swindon, appeared via video-link in Bristol today after appearing at Worcester Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
It was for a bail hearing over accusations he murdered Becky Godden-Edwards whose body was discovered by police during the investigation into the murder of Sian O'Callaghan in Swindon in March this year.
Becky was last seen by her family eight years ago after becoming involved in drugs and would have celebrated her 29th birthday in April.
Her remains were found in a field in Eastleach, Gloucestershire, 17 miles away from where Sian's body was discovered.
Christopher Halliwell will next appear at Bristol Crown Court for a Plea and Case Management Hearing on July 14th. It is thought a trial could be held in January next year.
