Shrien and Anni Dewani
The extradition process of Shrien Dewani could be delayed for a year.
The 32-year-old has been accused by South African authorities of arranging the murder of his wife Anni Dewani while on their honeymoon in Cape Town in November 2010.
Shrien denies having anything to do with his bride's death and is currently being treated for post traumatic distress disorder.
At today's extradition hearing, his legal team said he needed another 12 months to recover in order to be able to deal with the process.
The case was adjourned until September 18th to allow for further medical reports to be carried out. It's understood a psychiatrist appointed by South African authorities will now examine Dewani before any further decisions are made.
