50 Year Old Man Dies In M5 Crash
A man who recently celebrated his 50th Birthday has died after a crash on the M5 this morning.
At 4:24 this morning Great Western Ambulance Service were called to the M5 between Junction 13 for Stroud and 12 for Quedgeley and Gloucester.
Gloucestershire Police say that one vehicle hit the central reservation. It was the only vehicle involved, and the single driver was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are now investigating the incident, and a road closure is in place Northbound on the M5 between Junction 14 for Thornbury and 12 for Gloucester and Quedegley.
A diversion is in place while work is done to repair the road.
